My fiance makes a clicking sound w his tongue while sleeping at night. What can this be? Opinions appreciated?
The clicking noise he makes with his tongue seems to be one when you take your tongue to the rough of your mouth and click. He doesn't even realize he is doing this in his sleep but it wakes me up 1-3 times a night. Please help!!!

Yes, my mom can make a rapid, machinegun-like clicking sound with her tongue, too, but when awake. I was so envious of her ability. Kind of like the people who can whistle with their fingers, that ear-splitting, air raid siren kind of whistle. I'm deficient in both.
I doubt it's "dealing with stress". It's just a body function. Maybe while he's dreaming. But it is a problem since it wakes you up. that's tough on you.
I'd suggest going to a natural or holistic doctor. They may know of some herbs or something which MAY help. Good luck.
