What are you supposed to do if you are around someone who goes into a seizure?!
Question:
What are you supposed to do if you are around someone who goes into a seizure?
I was told several different things such as; remove anything from around them so they don't hurt themselves, turn them on their side, leave them alone and call 911. I would obviously call 911, however, what should I do?

1. time the seizure
2. lay them on their side(especially if vomiting occurs) and remove anything around them that can hurt them
3. place something under their head (pillow, blanket etc. or on your lap)
4. remove their eyeglasses if they are wearing any
5. DO NOT restrain them or place anything in their mouth
6. stay with them until they fully recover
7. observe the parts of the body affected
