My left ear is driving me CRAZY!! PLEASE HELP!?
When you were a kid, did you ever take a cardboard tube from a roll of gift wrap and listen through it???
Well, that's what my left ear has been like for the last week!!
I CAN'T get it to go away!
I really don't want to go to the Dr. if I don't have to...
any suggestions/home remedies to clear it up?
FYI---I clean my ears regularly and properly...I haven't been swimming or anything to have swimmers ear...I've tried hot compresses/cold compresses/yawing excessively to the point my jaws actually hurt now!
Some things I can't hear really well, like when people are talking to me...but I can hear every low volume hum of stuff like electrical equip, birds out side sound like they're on my shoulder...and even while I'm typing on the keyboard here, it sounds like I'm PUNCHING the keys....
I don't know how much more of this I can take!!!
PLEEEEEZ somebody help!

I hate to say it, but you really should go to the doctor. That's your best bet. You may have an ear infection that you need a prescription for.
