What happens if a pellet goes in???

earlier today i kinda got shot in the arm with a pellet from a rifle...in accident...and it made a deep cut...it bled alot and still is well sorda it kinda went down...and its purple/black around it...i dont think the pellet went in but if it did wat can happen???
