Question:

Rotatory cuff injury, exercise advice pls!!?

hi,
i have been having rotatory cuff injury for past 6-7 months.
i have been to an orthopedic n taking some S.W.D n some medicine have reduced the pain considerablly.

my e-ray report says "oseous or osteoarticular lesion or injury is seen in the radiographs" thats it. i have been doing some shoulder mobilisation exercise with one kg of weight.

but the pain hasnt gone completely as i still feel pain when trying to take my hand back n then up.

how many months/yrs it take for complete recovery?

what are some other exercises that i can do at home with wieghts to strenghthen my shoulder.

pls tell in detail as no pictorial view can be given in this forum.

i wanna join swimming but i cant do so as the pain is still there.
i cant even throw a ball as full pace as once i did it aggrevated the pain..almost back to square one.

pls advice some exercises.

Answers:

I cannot give you any help in that direction, as I injured myself the same way, trying to catch a cricket ball that my grandson had hit as it went pass me. I landed on my left side and my shoulder and hand are still painful three years later!
