Is it right to to to the ER if you have abdominal painn and feel very constipated? i asked my dad and he said?
i should go in case its somethin worse like my appendix

Yes. It is perfectly fine to go to your local ER if you have abdominal pain. If they have an urgent care clinic, or you have a primary care physician, you should go there first if possible. If not, go to the ER, and be evaluated. There are a number of things it may be. It could be constipation, appendicitis, or even an abdominal tumor. I wouldn't jump to conclusions until you are fully evaluated by a qualified healthcare professional, but things as simple as constipation if left untreated could have severe medical effects such as causing the body to go into septic shock, or other problems. The bottom line is, you need to go see a doctor.
