Pain during urination?
so i'm on my 4th day of my period and usually for me at this time my period stops and then starts back up in a day for about a day or two longer [normal, it happens every month] but every so often now it really hurts to urinate. i still use a tampon because during this one day i bleed only a little so does having the tampon so dry have something to do with it? i don't think its a uti cause this happens only when i have my period. i feel like i really need to RUN to the bathroom but when i get there i hardly urinate and it burns. im on antibiotics for a sinus infection so wouldn't that take care of any other infection i have? or is it something different.. help please

It is most likely a UTI. Quit using tampons because they can hold lots of bacteria. We did a culture one day on a tampon taken straight out of the wrapper and you would be surprised at the bacteria that was on it. The reason, tampons are not sterile. As far as the antibiotics you are taking for your sinus infection, probably won't cover the UTI. Go to the doctor, thats the only way you are really gonna find out what is going on.
