HELP IM SOOO SCARED!! please awnser?
Im going to the pediatritian doctor on thursday and I have to get my shots!!!! I have been freaking out. Just looking at the razer sharp needle and the pain and the horrid smell of rubbing achohol terrifies me. My mom said to go to horse camp,it was manditory that I had to have all my shots. OHH please..does anyone have tips on how to make it hurt less or how to make it less scary and painful????!!!!

I'm terrified of needles. Ask your doctor to use the shortest needle possible and don't look directly the needle at all when she/he even comes in the room (that way you don't have a picture of the needle in your head), then just turn away and don't watch them do it. I just recently got a tetnus shot (which are the most painful ones) and it hardly hurt with the short needle. Good luck!
P.s. don't tense up and don't tell them to go slow, they know what they are doing, the slower they go the longer the agany. It'll only last a 10th of a second. Just relax.
