Can Pepsi Spoil?!

Question:

Can Pepsi Spoil?

I left a case of Pepsi out in my hot car and then in the garage for over a month now. It has been pretty hot in the garage. My question is do you think the Pepsi’s are spoiled or may have bacteria in them. I don’t want to let anyone drink them and get sick or anything. Does anybody know?

Answers:

In short, no. Pepsi will spoil eventually (check for a date on the box), but even then they're not really spoiled. Because they are all sealed in individual, airtight cans, then can't ever really spoil. After a long time exposed to heat or sunlight, they may have a strange taste or color, but they are still safe to drink.
