Can I have 2 family doctors?!

Can I have 2 family doctors?

I currently have a female doctor (and I am Canadian male) and I am wondering if I can go see another doctor for certain questions or symptoms. You see, my comfort level with respect to certain things is sensitive and I would feel much better seeing a male doctor, yet the female doc is really good for other stuff.

Here is my question: If I go see a second doctor and offer up my MSI # (which they certainly will need), will the other doctor find out or know that I went to see someone else?

you can go to a walk in clinic and see another doc. generaly it is fairly hard in canada(im from BC) to get two family docs they will both want all history and you first will have to send all info to second. if you go to a walk in you can request that the info does not get sent to your family doc but unless your sure its not a majour problem you should mabie find a doc your comfortable with with everything
