Dr. Appt. interfere w/ work?

I feel guilty for taking soo much time from work lately for health, vision, and dental appts. Seems like doctors these days schedule so many follow up appts. I don't have a stressful job, but I worry that my employer thinks I'm a bad employee. Does anyone else have similar issues?

I used to but I don't anymore. You have to take care of yourself or you won't be a good employee. I have very bad teeth and mild depression because I never wanted to be a "bad employee" who missed work for doctor or dental appointments. Well I am now 50% done with my dental work and on a low dose antidepressant and I will not sacrifice my own health for any employer ever again. It's not worth it in my opinion - take care of yourself first.
