Piercing aftercare question!?!

Question:

Piercing aftercare question!?

I had my cartilage pierced exactly 5 weeks ago. I got something called and industrial, and a bioplast bar was put in it instead of a metal one so it's more flexible. The bottom hole looks great, no swelling or redness or pain..but the top hole, nearer to my scalp is red and i have two little bumps around the hole..It is also still a bit scabby but no more painful than when i first had it done. In fact, a lot lot less painful. I can sleep on it, I am just worried about the bumps..
I'm wondering what i can do to make them go down because they have been there for about 2 weeks now. I haven't got an infection because i know it would be really painful and sore..and it isn't unless i knock it.I dont know why i have ended up with them on the top hole and not the other one. I clean my piercing twice a day with saline soloution and hot compresses. I have bumped it a few times but i don't think it would be enough to damage the area. Maybe i am wrong..Any advice or ideas would be really great :)

Answers:

I had my industrial for about a year before it healed completely. It would always get infected too. The only thing that work for me was dial soap. I guess I've had my industrial now for about 8 years and it still gets irritated. Its gonna take a about six months to a year to heal completely. Keep your hair away from it and hair styling products can cause more irritation. You could also try sea salt soaks too. just mix a teaspoon of sea salt into a shot glass with warm water and use a cotton ball for a compress. hope it helps!
