My back is slightly sore after work. Will this cause any long term damage?!

Question:

My back is slightly sore after work. Will this cause any long term damage?

Answers:

What do you do for a living? I am a massage therapist. If you do something physical for a living, you should make sure to exercise, get massages and soak in a hot tub or bath on a regular basis. Take care of your body.

If you do office work, I would also do the same as above, but also look at your office ergonomics (meaning your chair, your desk, your keyboard, etc.) and make sure they are in the best positions for your body. You can look it up online for more info.

Will it cause long term damage? Possibly. Don't wait for that to happen, just take good care of yourself now!

You can also ice your back right now to help decrease the inflammation. Do it for the next few days.

Feel better!
