Where is the pain coming from?!

Question: Where is the pain coming from?
Hi,

My mother is suffering from chest pain. So I took her to the doctor (she has asthma). She is 43 years old. I think the pain is coming from the heart. So the doctor gave her some test (ECG,ECO,ETT). My mom thinks the pain is coming from the lungs, so she took a lung x ray. But the x ray report is normal. Here It is-

Bony thorax: Reveals no abnormality.
Diaphragm: Normal in position, contour & definition. Basal angles are free.
Heart: Normal in transverse diameter.
Lung fields: Clear on both sides.

She has not done the heart tests (will do it tomorrow). Is there anything else I can do for her. I want her to get fit (really fit like athletes). Thanks

Answers:

Well, the symptoms your mom is experiencing are for her doctor to diagnose. But,I do know of a medical condition that does involve chest pain, and many people do confuse this chest pain/medical condition with heart related illnesses. The medical condition that I am referring to is known as Costochondritis, and with this medical condition comes symptoms as,chest pain/pressure,pain upon inhalation(deep breathing/inhaling),pain when applying pressure to the location of pain, pain when laying flat and many other symptoms that I haven't listed.
Keep in mind that I am not offering a diagnoses of any kind, and this can only be determined by her doctor.
I suggest she continues to follow-up with her doctor, and also continues any future tests, exams, treatments, etc.
I hope everything checks out well for your mother, and she is able to receive the proper medical care and treatment.
All the best.

It could be anxiety, a pulled muscle, or acid reflux. Make a list of questions you and her would like to ask the doctor so you don't forget and write down the answers also. Tell your Mom you love her and offer to get things for her to show her you care. That will make her feel a lot better.

don't push her to exercise, she probably has some degree of heart trouble, even if the medics can't find it. see an hio method chiropractor.

She does have the one thing that doesn't show up on scans or tests. pinched muscles, in her back to be exact. When you have pinched muscles in your back they often send the pains around the body on the nerves to become pains in the rib, chest or heart areas. To get rid of these pains there are two ways of freeing up the muscles but only one she can do herself and here's how to free them up:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
