Burning sensation on the knee?!

Question:

Burning sensation on the knee?

I keep on gettin a feeling like my knee is burnin just below the knee joint.
It just happens every so often.
It is not painful or anything but I can feel it happening it only happens for a second or 2 at a time.
Does any1 have any idea what it can be or if it'll pass? I've never had any problems before.
My knees dont look as if theyre swollen or anythin should I just leave it alone if its not causin me any pain?

Answers:

It is either the meniscus or the articular cartilage from the research I have done. The frustration of this type of thing is a MRI is usually needed to obtain factual results of what has happened.

Inflamation and or irritation of sorts may be happening in your complex knee.

I had similar issue in the past, teh primary care doc said to stay off it as much as possible and ice it for about 15 daily until it did not bother me anymore. I did what he said and it worked. He also said he would need a MRI to know what was going on or he would have to scope it.

I just waiting and rested it, waala, it hurts no more.
