I had an hysterectomy 3wks ago why is my stomach still bloated and a pain in the right side?

My mother had one this year and the hospital told her it would take at least 6 months to fully get over it.your stomach needs time to adjust which will take time as there is part of you that is missing .it will get better if you are really worried about it talk to a doctor .my mother is alot beter now.She had the same problems .whatch what your eating as well and drink plenty.Try not to do anything over the top eg heavy lifting .rest is esential in the quickness of healing.
