I just hit my head?!
Question:
I just hit my head?
One of those square window fans fell out of the window and hit me in the back of the head. Then my nose got runny. Does that mean there's a problem? I feel a little unsteady, too, but not too bad, I guess. I don't have insurance right now so what should I do? (Besides punch the person who put the fan there).

Don't panic.
IF you lost consciousness then you need to see a doctor. If you didn't then you are probably fine. Runny nose is probably because you cried. If you have fluid running out of your ears call 9-1-1.
Have someone look at your eyes and see if your pupils are the same size. To be on the safe side have someone wake you up every 2 hours. You don't have to have a conversation just wake you up enough to know that you can. I am sure you will be fine, but if you aren't steady in a couple hours, have stuff running out of your ears, or major pain, try to find the nearest "county hospital" that will treat you and bill you based on your income.
