How do you treat a burn from an iron?
My hand accidentally hit the clothing iron while I was ironing a shirt. How do I treat this burn? It's not serious, but it stings like crazy.
Answers:
run your hand under cold water for about 5 minutes. if its no worse that a 1st degree burn you can treat it with aloe or any product with benzocaine in it which is an topical anesthetic. Solarcaine works wonders on minor burns. you can cover it with a clean dry bandage if needed.
