18 year old boy in car wreck?
he has lots on injurys, it has been 2 months now, his dad wants to take him off feeding tube, mom does not, he is doing ever thing else on his on, would you take him off the feeding tube? he is a veg. state
Answers:
Try this: (Leave him on the feeding tube), go to him and tell him by name that you're going to try something to make him better. Then, bring several objects to him with distinctive textures, preferably things he is familiar with, and tell him "feel this brush...thank you, feel this [insert name of object]...thank you" and continue this until there is SOME kind of result - change in blood pressure, SOMETHING. When there is a change, tell him he has done well and that you are done for the day. Do it until you get a result, it may take 20 minutes, it may take two hours, keep going until you get a result. You may not recognize any change at first, once you see a change for the first time, you'll know what to look for.
Continue this proceedure until he comes out of it.
I've seen some amazing results.
(If a month goes by with no results at all, then pull the feeding tube... but please, try this first, and fill out an organ donor form).
