I have what look like sores(??) on the side of my foot. Any idea what it may be?

On Sunday, I wore leather-type flip flops and afterwards I developed what look like 4 white-headed zits on the side of my foot. At first they itched, now they just hurt. It hurts to sleep (in case I rub my foot against a blanket or such), it hurts a bit when I put my weight on the entire foot, when not in use just the pain is just throbbing. I took some blurry photos of it - just so you can see what I'm talking about. Please let me know if you know what this may be. Thanks!

By the way, I wore the flip flops before several times with lots of comfort and no complains.

I'm wearing the flip flops right now. The part of the foot where the problem is - does not touch the flip flop in any way. It does not rub against the side or the bottom.

It looks like an infection (bacterial), probably a Staph infection. You really need an antibiotic, but you can try cleaning it with with betadine or Hibiclens until you have an appointment set up. Both products are available at most pharmacies.
