Why do my arms feel this way?
My arms constantly are tingly - weak and feel like they are going to go numb. They go from hot to cold... it is normally my upper arms and/or my hands/wrist area.. why do they do this? Is it because I work at a computer all day long? Its really starting to irritate me. What can I do to help?
Answers:
The first question I would think to ask is are you literally sitting there all day long. It sounds like you might be cutting the circulation off in your arms somehow. Perhaps your resting your wrist on the edge of the desk, how your setting etc. But Ideally I would suggest every 30 mins to an hour get up and walk around for a few mins. Just to get your blood flowing and see if that helps. I tend to think it is environmental simple b/c it is "just" your arms, it is a consistent issue and you mentioned the work environment that doesn't sound ideal by any means. Try this if it doesn' twork or at least help out I woudl suggestion seeing your family pracitioner to see if it could be some sort of circulatory issue.
Carpel tunnel is also another problem, however if you just experiencing numbness and no pain it is questionable. The hot and cold do match up with carpel tunnel but either way I would have ti checked out.
