Glass Splinter in foot?
There was a shattered glass on the floor, I thought I got it all up, but about 2 weeks ago I got a glass splinter from it. I couldn't get it out so I decided to leave it be, and it gradually got better, and whenver walking I don't notice it. However, when I play basketball and grab the ball and slam on my feet really hard I can still barely feel it.
Whenever I press the area with my finger it also give me pain. What should I do? If I continue to leave it there like a wood splinter will it dissolve? If not, are there consequences to leaving it in there? I really don't want to go to a surgeon.

Glass does not dissolve.
If you do not want to go to a surgeon ( which I would do) then try using a strong magnet!
