I have Diastasis recti, and does anyone know any excersizes to help me heal,?or !

I have Diastasis recti, and does anyone know any excersizes to help me heal,?or get better even for a bit?

I've seen from some sites that I need abdominal exersizes, some can be helpful, but some can make it even worse. does anyone have any exercises that i can do?

Hi. You can wear a band that goes around your abdomen to help push the muscles back together. A Physio may be able to get you one, or you can get them online if you look up abdominal binder/band. You should not do any stomach crunches, sit-ups as this could make it worse. Alternatively you should be doing a lot of core exercises (which Pilates focusses on). Start slow though. Also, you should hold your bellybutton in whenever you think of it, whether you're doing exercises or not. There is a chance it will never heal, but wearing the band and doing core exercise may reduce it, or if you're lucky, heal it completely. Either get the advice of a good personal trainer, a Pilates specialist or do a search on core exercises. Good luck!
