What could be causing deep localized bone pain in my tibia?!

Question:

What could be causing deep localized bone pain in my tibia?

I posted this yesterday but with inaccurate information. I currently for the past few months have been having pain in my Tibia it seems. The pain is deep and very localized. First I thought it was a bruise but I realized there was no visible bruise and plus the pain has got worse. Mostly when I bump it right, it hurts very bad. Usually I dont notice it much walking around. However the past few weeks to month the pain has been increasing. Its still in one spot but I feel it sometimes just sitting still or even aches when I am walking. Pressing the area causes the pain to feel worse. Any ideas? I am 17 year old male btw.

Thanks for the replies so far. Actually I am currently not involved in any sports activity. It hurts mid to lower tibia. And I know anatomical names from Anatomy and Physiology at school. :) I have a doctors appointment for Fri. The pain isnt at the point that walking around is a problem, its more of just a nuisance that I notice. It grabs my attention more for the fact it hasnt gone away rather then the actual pain itself.
