Question:
Leg pain for a year and no answers?
My wife has been in pain for a year now and we can't get any answers.
Symptoms:
Constant Leg Pain, Swelling, redness\Purple in color, colder than other leg and I have trouble finding a pulse below the knee.
She has seen several doctor and had multiple test including bone scans and two MRI's. We need some answers, she can't be expected to cope with this forever!
Answers:
if you are having problems finding her pulse and the leg is colder than the other.......you either need to get a better doctor or take her to the ER. To me its sounds as if she has a clot---ask for a doppler to be done on both legs to rule out a clot or any blockage. Also the redness/purple in color could indicate a cellulitis---if its warm to touch in the reddened area see a doctor.
