Will the pain ever go away?!

Question:

Will the pain ever go away?

I was in a car accident 4 years ago. went to chiropractor for like a year and that helped but the pain has never really completely gone away. If I use my left arm to much is will cause pain in my upper left back/ shoulder area and will make my neck stiff. My neck also gets very stiff and is painful when I keep my head turned to the left or right too long! I've tried to work out and most of the time it just makes the pain worse! Does this sound like something I will need surgery on to make the strength in my neck, shoulder, arm come back! I feel like I haven't been the same since and I'm only 22! i used to work with my dad doing lawn care and stopped 4 years ago as well and now have gained like 20lbs. I'm not overweight but very out of shape and it some times makes me very depressed! What do you suggest? Can't go to the DR right now cause I'm waiting for Health Insurence to kick in and that won't be for another few months! Just so tired of the pain always coming back! Sorry so long!

My husband sustained a fall a year ago, was stiff, went to chiropractor, I was not impressed, urged him to see ortho. Had to have spinal fusion, the chiropractor never even mentioned the possibility of such a severe injury. So , go to a doctor, clinic emergency room, you could have something serious and waiting could cause more damage and make it worse. Irregardless of ability to pay, an emergency room has to see you. If you have a local hospital that is state funded, apply for public assistance, you may qualify. Do not feel embarrassed about this, there are millions without health care, it is just to expensive for average working people to afford.
