Heartburn a couple times a day any suggestions?
My husband get heartburn a couple times a day and has to keep taking tums or any kind of those pills, i told him it could be something else and should have it checked out. does any one have any suggestions with this?

Tums several times a day is not normal. He probably needs a medicine like pepcid or prilosec. I know the box on prilosec says not to take it ore than 14 days but then why do they package it in a month supply box. When prilosec was still a prescription millions of people, myself included, took it forever. I still take it and get bad heartburn when I don't. If his doesn't help your husband needs to see the D. for a more extensive workup of his stomach distress to find out if it is anything more serious.
