Has anyone been driving with the windows open and all of a sudden hear a sound that hurts your years?
It goes away when we close the window, and we aren't sure what it is, and why it only happens sometimes

the difference in pressure caused by the moving air outside the car and the still air inside the car is hurting your ears. it helps to open more than one window so that air flows and pressure is equalized.
