Nauseous after wisdom teeth? What do I do!?!

Question: Nauseous after wisdom teeth? What do I do!?
So I had surgery to get all four of my impacted wisdom teeth out yesterday. I as under conscious sedation and apparently had fun the whole time I was there. Once the freezing wore off last night I was in the worst pain of my life. I was bawling. I am taking three meds, Tylenol 3, antibiotics, and advil.

When I started these meds yesterday they took away my pain and I was pretty much comfortable aside from a little discomfort by my stitches. I wasn't nauseous. Today I woke up and I'm like SUPER nauseous, it get nauseous from sitting up and even just sitting here, its awful. I feel much worse then I did yesterday, but I think my oral surgeon said that was normal, and the peak of pain happens usually the third night.

Anyway what can I do? I can't stop taking meds, because I will be in too much pain. Please someone help.

Ps. I am heavily medicated, lying down and typing this with one hand lol sorry if there is spelling mistakes or this doesn't make sense :P

Answers:

Tylenol 3 contains codeine and can make you very nauseous. You also might just be swallowing old blood which could make you nauseous. Try taking small sips of WATER or Gator aid at a time. Don't want to fill the stomach as this could make you throw up. Gargling with salt water helps if your Dr. Ok ed this. You might want to call your dDr. for a different pain med. Good luck.

Maybe you should ask this in the Dental section and ask for a dentist's opinion.

Sorry I couldn't help! :(
