I've had a cold for about a week now with normal symptoms (Headache, sore throat, fever, coughing, ...) and for the past few hours, my left ear has been bugging me. At first I thought it was just plugged since I had just taken a shower but it's now begging to hurt slightly, like there's pressure.
Would this be related to my cold or a ear infection?
Any help is appreciated.

Typically yes ear aches can accompany virus' such as what you've described. They suck, and they're annoying and can be painful. But you're best bet is to grab a hot watter bottle or a damp heated towel and lie down for a bit, ear down on one of these things. If it persists and is bothersome, take a tylenol.
If it continues to get worse throughout the day to the point where the pain is really really uncomfortable, have your ear check for an infection!
