Is it just me or do u get less than 4 hours sleep anight?


Answers:

If you can get only 4 hrs of sleep a night, and not feel tired or need a nap during the day, then it's natural for you. Without knowing how old you are, many elderly find they don't need as much sleep as when younger.....but then there's tons of elderly who sleep most of the day, too. It's whatever your need for sleep is.

If you are very healthy, in good shape, don't take lots of drugs, then you may not need 7-8 hrs of sleep.
Red Skelton, the famed comedian, said he only slept about 3-4 hrs a night. After a concert performance, he'd go back to his room, spend couple hrs painting, couple hrs composing music, then sleep those 4 hrs, and then arise and do more painting and composing, until his day started.

Admittedly, if you really only need 3-4 hrs of sleep, you're in the vast minority. But if you're not drinking tons of caffeine, or taking prescription drugs which might keep you awake, or your hormones aren't all whacked out, I wouldn't worry about it. Medicine loves to tell everyone they should be "normal" and exist within very specific parameters. If you're worried, seek out a good natural or holistic doctor.

Your body is a marvelous machine. It will tell you what it needs, how much sleep it needs.

My question is....if you only need 3-4 hrs sleep nightly, do you fall asleep after a Thanksgiving turkey meal?
