Is it ok to go to work with what looks like pink eye?
I was driving yesterday and my contact was bothering me. My eye became a little bit bloodshot so when I got home I took it out. This morning when I woke up my eye was really bloodshot and had just a little bit of the gunk associated with pink eye. I have applied Similason this morning. I work in an office and mainly stay in my cubicle. I have also been washing my hands with antibacterial wipes.

If you think you have pinkeye, stop wearing your contacts (hopefully you have glasses for backup) and go get a prescription for antibiotic ointment. It's highly contagious, but is transmitted by touch and not an airborne thing. As long as you're taking every precaution to avoid spreading it in the workplace, and it sounds like you are, you should be able to go to work. But do get the antibiotic very soon; it's not going to go away by itself.
