Discolored skin a week after a blood test -What does this mean?!


Question:

Discolored skin a week after a blood test -What does this mean?

I had some blood work done last week and all of a sudden it's a week later and the skin around the area is brused and discolored. Is this normal and what do you think my doctor did to cause this? thanks :)

Kind of funny since this is the first time I got a bruise and the person who did it was an MD for 15 years. Other times it was just nurses.
