anybody got any good advice am looking for health insurance my husband retires soon and we will need to get our own Health insurance. looked at blue cross and health partners but it so expensive anyone no anyone more affordable ty for any info.

You'll have to shop around to find a plan or plans for you and your husband. You could try using the internet if you have the time to compare over 1000 plans that are available or you could visit a local independent agent. The agent knows the market in your area and can find something that fits your situation. The premium using the agent is the same as the premium buying on the internet but you get their expertise.
If you have less than two years before Medicare and only need catastrophic coverage you could try a short term medical plan. The agent will be able to help you there as well.
Be very wary of medical discount plans. The people that sell these plans have little or no knowledge of health insurance and do not need to be licensed. The plans are not regulated so you have little recourse when problems with the plan arise. If you are tempted by these plans get a list of doctors before signing up. Call the doctors to verify that they're still taking the plan (many will not even know they are listed as a provider) and that they're taking new patients.
