Can a cold cause ringing in one of your ears? Please help :s?!

Question: Can a cold cause ringing in one of your ears? Please help :s?
I've had a cold for several days now with normal symptoms (sore throat, coughing, nasal congestion, headache, ...). But ever since I got out of the shower yesterday, my left ear has been blocked and I can hear ringing.

Is it related to the cold or something different?

Please help, I don't want to cause damage to my ear by not doing the proper thing.

Answers:

Yes it can, when you get a headace and or fever it can cause irritation in the ears. You may very well also have an ear infection. You probably have water in your ear as well, it will come out in a couple of days, if not, then try turning your head sideways with the ear that has the ringing in it and jump up and down..works everytime with me.
