How do I hide cuts?!

Question:

How do I hide cuts?

Ok, so I know how wrong and all it was but that's not what I want to hear please. I cut myself and someone found out. They told a friend, told a friend, however far that went on, and they told my pregnant older sister. She asked me if I did, I said no and now she's really suspicious. I need to help them heal up asap however I can. I've been killing them with salt water and that is helping but if there is anything else I'd like to know just in case.

Ok, I know I should tell her but that's not exactly what I wanna hear, I just want to know if there are some ways to hide them. They are on the back side of my left arm. And Johnny is my best friend who moved to Chicago.

I have stopped cutting, that's already over with, I just need to get rid of the old ones, and most of them are not deep.

Answers:

well i certainly don't condone cutting but it's not my place to withhold the answer to your question because i've made a judgement about you as a person i just hope that you won't use the information i give you to continue hurting yourself and hiding it from your loved ones who just want to help you (as i'm sure you know. it's not that i think you're stupid and haven't heard/thought this before, i just feel the need to say it before i can tell you how to hide the cuts).

what i do when i have a cut is i put neosporin (or grocery/drug store brand antibacterial cream...ask at the store what's the store brand of neosporin) on the cut and then put bandaids on them and let it stay overnight. then take off the bandaids and add more neosporin and more bandaids every couple of hours. the trick is not to let the cuts "breathe" and then they will hear faster, better, and with less scarring. it might be good, however, to take the bandaids off before you bathe and clean the cuts really well in the shower/bath and when you get out of the shower/bath, make sure there's no more soap on the cuts and put more neosporin/bandaids and continue with changing the bandaids every couple of hours.

i hope this helps you because it's really not my decision when you should be ready to deal with your problems but i really hope this doesn't perpetuate your self-mutilation.
