Is my left ear going to be okay?!

My ear has been blocked and ringing loudly since yesterday, also I cannot hear as well as I normally can out of the ear. It started out of nowhere, shortly after taking a shower. Each time I try unblocking my ear it sounds like it tries to pop but results in a short pain.

I have also had a cold for the past week, but it's now going away, could this be related to it? Also, I've had small amounts of blood occasionally in my nasal mucous if that is in any way related.

Can anyone provide some advice? I don't want to damage my hearing by not doing the right thing.
