Fluid on my knee?!

Question:

Fluid on my knee?

What will my Dr. do for this? It isn't painful, just uncomfortable. I can barely walk because I cannot fully extend my leg forwards or backwards. I can't stand straight on my leg.

Answers:

Mostlikely the Dr will give you NSAIDS and he'll ask you to ice your knee a few times a day for 20 minutes each. If you have ALOT of fluid in your nkee, he'll probably drain it, which means he'll have to put a needle in your knee. I've heard that It may hurt like Hell, and i've also heard that it doesn't hurt too much. It depends on the person and how the dr is doing it. Good luck
