Hand and foot problem?!

Question:

Hand and foot problem?

I have been suffering from unexplained pain in both of right and left hands(through my thump, pinky and wrest) it has been going on for the past six months, I went to the doctors and they weren't able to explain the reason behind this pain, I have had nerv tests, xrays, blood tests and none were able to find the problem, this problem occured after I was heavy hammering steel bolts that have already been cut down through the concrete so they wouldn't get in the way. this pain doesn't limit me from doing my dealy activities but is always there.. I kindof started to feel a pain of similar nature in both of my feet.. I am 18 years old and feel really sad to have to deal with such issues at this age please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answers:

If it happens in your feet too, you know its not just from hammering bolts, but from some other medical condition like peripheral neuropathy. I've done similar work as you hammering steel rods and yes, your hands and wrists will hurt. The inside of your elbows will also hurt if you keep on hammering steel on steel due to the shock travelling up your arm. If its just carpal tunnel, take anti-inflammatory medicine for a coulpe of weeks and rest your arms/hands which means staying off the computer too. You might feel better wearing a wrist support for carpal tunnel.
