How soon after an auto accident does muscle soreness go away?
Husband, myself and 5 other kids were in a car accident lst night... I walked away fine but sore as hell, mostly in he front and side neck muscles {not the back musces} .. I am taking vallium, vicodin and percocet or pain and tense muscles... I am also very stiff in the muscle area in betwen my shoulders... Does anyone know about how long musce stiffness lasts and what I can do besides heating pads and hot showers and drugging myself into oblivion? I am not in a gret amount of pain. Just EXTREMLY sore..

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. It could take a couple of days to a week or two to feel "right again". Some pains can be even more persistent.
You might try a chiropractor if you're still suffering in a week or so.
