Question:
Has my housemate broken his nose?
Smacked his nose on the side of the bath, very loud crack but no blood and, he says, no pain; the only thing is, it now has the feel of a sponge, no 'hardness' to it at all, literally feels like it's made out of fat. Very, very slightly red but not alarmingly so.
Could it be broken or just very badly bruised? No swelling. Thanks!

Hey James ....as you know, no bones in nose - all cartilage. If there's no blood, that's a good thing. Ice is nice ....keep that puppy iced and see if that helps. When in doubt, check with a doc.
