What causes a pain in the back of your right thigh?!

Question:

What causes a pain in the back of your right thigh?

Answers:

If you can't recall a specific injury, then it quite possibly could be you sciatic nerve. Alot of times you can herniate a lower lumbar disc and not even realize, it in turn puts pressure on your sciatic nerve. The nerve starts in the middle of your lower back, moves across to your hip, and down your thigh, then your calf to your big toe. The pain from this could be any of those places or all of them. Best thing to do is to alternate ice and heat 15 min at a time, and rest your back/thigh as much as possible. Aleve will also help to relieve some of the pain. Good Luck
