Cartilage Piercing Question #2?!

Cartilage Piercing Question #2?

I just wrote a question about a bump on my cartiliage piercing. I got it about 4 months ago. It was fun up until 3 weeks ago. It has been going back and forth from red to white now it has been black for a few days. It looked like a scab (I think it was) now it just looks like a black bubble that may pop. I've been doing the sea salt soaks for 10 minutes and sprayiing that H20 Ocean spray. Is it really infected and should I take it out? It really doesn't hurt, my ear drum just feels like there's a lot of pressure. Help me out, thanks!

Answers:

Whenever you are in doubt about a piercing take it to a PROFESSIONAL PIERCER!!!! They know what they are doing. It sounds like you might be infected. You should take your tempurature before going in, as that can be another sign of infection, if it is elevated tell the piercer. If it is infected they will probably recommend for you to see a Dr. for antibiotics. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TAKE OUT THE PIERCING!!!!! IF YOU ARE INFECTED IT WILL TRAP THE INFECTION IN!!!!!!! Trust me, you don't want that to happen, it will increase your problems tenfold!!! Good luck!
