Ringing in my ears! HELP!?
Hey i've just come back from a rock show.
I was at the front near an amp for about half an hour-45 mins
Ive been home for about 45 minutes after the show
I tried to get some sleep but there was really bad ringing in my ears.
I know that ringing in my ears is hearing damage.
But will this ringing last forever
It's really annoying
Will it go away!!
Im actually quite scared.
I dont go to gigs often but i do listen to my mp3 quite loud.
It only rings when im moving it goes away before coming back again.
Is it psychological? cause i do stuff like this often, like i think something might happen (eg. heart attack) and then my heart starts aching but it doesnt really its just my mind.
ANY HELP would be so greatly appreciated.

No, the ringing shouldn't last more than a day or two, however the hearing loss could be permanant and you could develop chronic tinnitus (the ringing) to where it keeps coming back. Don't stand so close to the amps next time or get yourself a pair of foam ear plugs so that you still hear the music going on, but don't get so much damage to your ears.
