The CDC website states that no more than 6 to 8 Grams a day,liver damage is very likely, if you exceed this dosage.Toxic effects to the liver can happen with only a short usage span.I extra strength Tylenol = 500mg. 1 Gram =1000mgs. so you shouldn't exceed taking 2 Tylenol tablets every 4-6 hours.
