I am afraid of shots.........?

I need a tetnis and have to get one for school. How do you get over the fear of needles and blood. One time, I got my finger pricked and felt fine but 5 min. later in the doctors office I started puking everywhere (I dont want that to happen again and Im afraid of needles)

I'm 22 and terrified, always have been always will be. I request that they bring in the BIG nurse, and tell her how to hold me still so I won't fight, I take my shot, and then soon after pass out or get sick. Just the way it is, you will be okay. Have your dad go with you. Dads are good at this stuff.
