How to heal and injured rooster?
We have a few month old rooster who is injured from fighting with the other brothers.His skin on his head has peeled off while the right eye is closed up.The most we did was put non alcohol iodine.Any sources ?

These boys are getting old enough to fight for dominance and higher postion with the "girls". Left together this will probably not be the last incident of fighting.
Really about all you can do is seperate the birds and just let nature take care of the wounds and you may end up with a blind and scarred rooster.
I recently added a new rooster as the older rooster was no longer capable of fertilizing eggs. . . the older they get,the less fertile they are and the new rooster acted like he wanted to kill the older rooster so I had to get the younger rooster off of the older rooster before such damage as you describe ocurred and they have not be together since.
