I have a really bad pain in my neck why??

i woke up with a seriously bad pain in my neck and i dont know why.

Answers:

You could have slept wrong and pulled a musle. That happened to me once becuase i woke up early and i had more time for sleep but i slept in a odd position and there was this pain in my neck and if i tried to crack my neck it wouldn't go away. After a week though i went away.
