Is it possible to pull a muscle near your temple?!


Question:

Is it possible to pull a muscle near your temple?

For about 2 days i have been having throbbing, headache sort of pain near my right temple. It only last about 10 mins and goes away and comes back a couple of hours later. Can it be a strained muscle? I recently strained a muscle in the right side of my neck (the sternocleidomatoid muscle). Can this be effecting my temple?
