HELP i've had an operation on the lower part of my back, which consists of 5 wedges a titainum rod and a cage
I had this operation on the 29th January 07. I was told that i would not be in as much pain as i was if i had the op. But i landed up with foot drop which i still have and my left leg is numb from just above the ankle i have no feeling in my foot at all,While i was on holiday my leg gave way from underneath me without warning,and because i chose not to take my crutches had to hire some.My back is still quite sore but there was some improvement after my op. But now there just seems to be a constant ache, i have good days and bad days and find i'm getting quite tearful as i don't know what to expect next, is there anybody out there that can give me any advice signed desperate

You need to have a second opinion. See an orthopedic doctor. Get copies of your medical records from the hospital, including the operative report, and get some help. good luck!
